Two languages, equal here
We serve members in English and in French. This site, the member card and our letters come in both, and neither is a translation of convenience. Join in the language you prefer, and we write to you in it.
Part of the Together and Stronger family
Part of the Together and Stronger family. One membership, recognized by every house.

TAS stands for Together and Stronger. TAS Canada is the membership organization for everyone who came to Canada from another country, and for Canadians living abroad. It is the Canadian house of a worldwide family.
Almost one in four people in Canada came from another country and made it their permanent home. Many more are here to study or to work, and a great many Canadians live abroad. They share the same questions, and until now each household has answered them alone.
TAS Canada brings those households into one membership. We negotiate on their behalf in twelve areas of everyday life, we publish plain guidance that is free to everyone, and we bring community associations into a network that stands together. Members hold one card, recognized by every house of the family.

The idea is older than any of us, and it has a plain name: the law of large numbers.
A single household that asks an airline, an insurer or a bank for better terms is one voice. A membership of many households is a market, and markets are listened to. North America’s great membership organizations have shown for generations what this does for the people they serve: fairer prices, clearer terms, and a seat at the table.
We bring the same strength to people who live between countries. They are numerous, they are loyal, and their needs are distinct: the long flight, the transfer home, the parent who visits, the credential that must be earned twice. Spoken for together, those needs are met.
Together and Stronger is one family with seven regional houses: Europe, Canada, India, China, Africa, East Asia and West Asia, beside the member organization in the Americas where the family began.
Each house knows its own ground. TAS Canada knows provincial health plans, credit bureaus and the first January; our sister houses know theirs. TAS Member Services negotiates and runs the benefit programs for every house, the TAS Foundation gives help in hardship, and TAS World is the map that joins them.
For a member, all of this comes to one thing. One card, recognized by every house of the family, wherever life takes you next.
